Steve Hale (Haler)
Steve is 52 years old and opened up his goalkeeping school in April 2007.
Steve holds the UEFA Goalkeeping A Licence, the top goalkeeping coaching licence in Europe.
Steve is currently First Team Goalkeeping Coach at League Two side MK Dons.
He has also been First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Crawley Town (League Two then League One) Exeter City (League Two), Oldham Athletic (League Two), Forest Green Rovers (National League then League Two) Walsall (League One) and his longest spell was with Swindon Town (League One) where he spent 9 years at the club, starting out working in the Academy and then overseeing all goalkeepers at the club from under 9 to first team.
Steve also has good experience in Academy Football both at Swindon Town and more recently Championship club Coventry City where he was Head of Academy Goalkeeping (9-21s) while also providing first team support for the Championship side
Steve has also coached in the Womens Super League with Tottenham Hotspur Women
In his first season with Forest Green Rovers in the National League he was part of the coaching staff that got the club promoted to the Football League for the first time, via the play off final at Wembley Stadium. This was Steve's second Play Off Final experience at Wembley Stadium after being part of the coaching staff that made the League One Play off final in 2015 when Swindon lost to Preston. Steve in season 2019/20 returned to Wembley for a third time coaching at the League Two play off final between his then club Exeter City and Northampton Town. In 2023/24 Steve incredibly made his 4th trip to Wembley Stadium for the League Two Play off Final with Crawley beating Crewe Alexandra 2-0 to win promotion to League One, Steve's sceond promotion.
Steve has great experience over his 17 years in a professional football club environment including 424 games coached across the WSL, National League, League Two, League One and Championship.
Steve has also previously been goalkeeping coach at Southern Premier sides Chippenham Town and Cirencester Town.
Steve has played over 400 games in the Hellenic and Toolstation league for various teams.

Will Henry, a scholar to receiving a professional contract a year early
Leigh Bedwell from under 14 to earning a professional contract
Conor Thompson from under 15 to full time scholar and international honours with Northern Ireland after starting out in Steve Hale Goalkeeping School
Aaron Moody from under 11 to full time scholar
Connor Johns from under 15 & being offered a two year scholarship a year early upon reaching the under 16 squad & twice appeared on the bench for the 1st team during his first year as scholar
Jamie Stephens from under 15 to full time scholar and who was then sold to Premiership side Liverpool
Jared Thompson from under 10 to under 14 before he was sold to Premiership giants Chelsea after starting out in Steve Hale Goalkeeping School
