About Us

Steve Hale Goalkeeping School was formed in 2007 with the aim of helping develop young goalkeepers in Swindon and the surrounding areas, since then close to 500 different goalkeepers have been coached.

Steve, an experienced coach, has worked as Head of Goalkeeping or First Team Goalkeeping coach at the likes of Swindon Town, Forest Green Rovers, Walsall, Oldham Athletic, Exeter City, Tottenham Hotspur Women and now Crawley Town therefore Steve has great contacts in the game.  Goalkeepers of the right calibre may get recommended for trials as has been the case in the past. One such triallist went on to become an academy goalkeeper, then onto a scholar while at the same time achieving international honours and eventually he earned a professional deal. Another went on to become an academy player, then sold to a top premiership club and is now training with two different international countries before a decision is made on which country he plays for. Four other young goalkeepers have gone on to academy football.

Steve Hale Goalkeeping School is for the Goalkeeper who wants to improve and develop his or her game. I am looking for Goalkeepers who have a passion for keeping that ball out of the net in what is a specialised position on the pitch. In a fun and safe environment I want to help Goalkeepers of all ages and abilities to better themselves technically, tactically, physically, psychologically and socially, striving to be the best that they can and enjoy themselves along the way.

A full "Child Protection Policy" is available on request to look through as we value the safety of the children within our sessions and care.

Steve Hale Goalkeeping School is fully insured.
