*The only footwear permitted on the 3G pitch will be moulded stud boots. Under no circumstances will blades (including rubber ones) or metal studs be allowed on the 3G surface. If you turn up with the wrong footwear you will not be able to train therefore this is your responsibility to bring the correct footwear.

Steve Hale Goalkeeping School does not operate a formal trial process. Our groups include goalkeepers with a wide range of abilities, from complete beginners to those with existing experience. We recognise goalkeepers within our groups will be Technically/Tactically/Socially/Physically at different stages of their development.

During a goalkeeper’s first session with us, particularly with the younger goalkeepers 6-8 year olds we observe them closely to ensure that the environment is suitable and safe for them, and that the session will be beneficial for their development. If we have any concerns, we will discuss these openly with the parent or guardian.

In all our years of operation, only a very small number of goalkeepers have not yet been ready for group sessions and required a little more time before joining.

If a parent has paid for a place and it becomes clear after the first session that the goalkeeper is not yet ready, Steve Hale Goalkeeping School will provide a full refund
